Statement of Faith

We believe the Holy Scriptures, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and sufficient Word of God, breathed out by the Holy Spirit. They are the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, life, and godliness.

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three distinct and coequal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—each fully God, sharing the same essence, yet distinct in person and role.

We believe God the Father is an infinite, personal Spirit—perfect in holiness, justice, wisdom, power, and love. He providentially governs all things and is the author of salvation, choosing from eternity past those whom He would redeem through His Son.

We believe in the full deity and true humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and died a substitutionary, atoning death for sinners. He rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will return personally and gloriously to judge the living and the dead.

We believe the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. At regeneration, He indwells the believer, enabling sanctification, empowering for service, and sealing until the day of redemption. We affirm the cessation of miraculous sign gifts with the closing of the apostolic era.

We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam's disobedience. All people are now sinners by nature and by choice, totally depraved, and utterly unable to save themselves or seek God apart from His sovereign grace.

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. It is wholly a sovereign work of God. Regeneration precedes faith, and repentance and faith are gifts granted by the Holy Spirit. All whom the Father has chosen and the Son has redeemed will infallibly come to saving faith and persevere to the end.

We believe the church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. Local churches are visible expressions of this body, governed by biblically qualified elders, practicing the ordinances of believer's baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and committed to the preaching of the Word, prayer, fellowship, and discipline.

We believe that God created humanity as male and female, equal in dignity but distinct in role. Marriage is a covenantal union between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ and His Church. Men are called to lead in the home and in the church. Homosexuality, transgenderism, and all forms of sexual immorality are sin.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous—eternal joy in the new heavens and new earth for the saved, and eternal punishment in hell for the lost. Christ will return visibly to judge the living and the dead.

We believe the triune God created the heavens and the earth in six literal, consecutive, 24-hour days. Humanity was created specially in God’s image, not evolved from animals. Creation exists to declare the glory of God.

We believe that those truly born again will live lives marked by holiness, obedience, repentance, and love. While not saved by works, believers are saved unto good works prepared by God. True Christians will persevere in faith to the end.
